Flew into New Orleans this morning and drove down to Houma to pick up some furniture. On the way back we went through Lafayette and stopped at a Lafayette Shooters hunting supply store. That was probably the most impressive inventory of hunting clothing, guns, ammo and supplies that I have seen. I haven't been to just a whole lot of places, but if anybody has ever been there I'm sure they know what I mean. There was no fishing, camping or cooking stuff. It was straight up hunting. I know this is TexasBowhunter but if any body is ever passing through there you should check it out. Really cool place. That is all!

Didn't get to eat at Prejean's. We were supposed to meet a buddy there but he couldn't make it, so we ate at The Blue Dog. Then we hit Poupart's for some black and whites. But first we went to Chops to pick up some cracklins and a healthy supply of different sausage and boudin. Had to buy two coolers before we left Lafayette! And yes the 12 month 0% interest is in full swingComment

I wish they stayed open later early in the week. often by the time I get in town they are closed... They're open late on thursdays though... great place.Comment
