    waterproof chippewa boots?

Are they worth the money, or should just go with the regular ones. I don't plan on going through alot of water, but I worry about having wet feet when the dew is on the ground.

i have had 3 or 4 pairs of the regular ones and i just put a ton of mink oil on them. No issues with them while walking in water.

I originally bought a pair of the regular and a pair of the waterproof. Almost immediately took the regular ones back and now have 2 pair of waterproof ones. I use one for working in the off-season and one for hunting season.

They are A TON more comfortable than the regular ones.

I can also tell you they are very waterproof and have never had them leak. Worth the minimal money difference in my opinion.

If it doesn't say Goretex it is not water proof!

I had a pair of Chippewas when they made the lace up boots. I had them for at least 8 years and finally had to get rid of them last year. They were waterproff and it weas great up until last year. On those mornings with dew you will not regret it, in fact you will love getting in the stand with DRY Feet...

I've never had a pair of the regular ones that DIDN'T leak, that's why my last pair were the waterproof ones. Much more comfy, ten times easier to pull on and take off. I'll never own another regular pair.

The waterproof ones are super hot. They are very comfy tho. I've had mine for 4-5 years and had to rip the lining out last year cause it came loose and my feet wouldn't come out! I have put a thousand miles on them in those years tho.
