I know this probably has been mention a ton of times on here (and I have looked), but I am getting conflicting information and can not find it int he Outdoor annual on TPWD website. What is the minimal acreage to archery hunt in Texas? Also is it particular to each county? Thanks for any information you can provide.

From the TPWD Annual:
It is against the law to:
hunt in a subdivision with lots 10 acres or less in an unincorporated area of a county if the commissioners court, by order, prohibits the discharge of a firearm or the use of archery equipment in such subdivisions. (Contact local county clerk and ask about 235.022, Local Government Code.)

Has the CC prohibited discharge of a firearm or use of archery equipment in unincorporated areas of my county? Which would also presumably mean target practice? (Discharge) - They said target practice was OK. So I asked, then I can also hunt right? They said well I don't know about that ... ? My argument is that since the discharge is not prohibitted, then hunting is not prohibitted, at least that is how I read it, the if being the operative word.
