not a problem for me as long as the price is not too bad. i like eating deer. the racks are nice on the bucks, but if i am not paying for a trophy lease then i am happy shooting does.

My place is like that, but like Blood Trail said when the Rut hits you will have them chasing all your "booty"

Where are you hunting? North east texas? That would be about right. Bucks lay up is east texas and dont hit the corn much intill pre rut.

That's the way it is at my spot, but when horns harden & bachelor groups break up, it'll change, be patient & keep your feeder full.

Although it goes against conventional deer management practices, I disagree. I questioned the the lease rules of only one doe per membership for a while, but after having some great bucks come off of our small property (1100 acres) over the past few years and looking at pics of bucks from previous years I am beginning to change my tune. We haven't had any TC pics of any of the good bucks that we've shot (I'll say 130 or over is a good buck in our area). It seems that the bucks just flood our property during the rut. I would assume that this is because of all of the does on the place. We don't feed protein, just one food plot minimum per member and several lease plots that aren't hunted over. We have 2 150 class 10's and a 142" 8 point over the past 3 seasons. Pretty good for a $550/year lease...
