Whats a Colt worth?

A buddy of mine is thinking about haveing me sell his Colt python, its a 357 mag, 6 inch and is nickle or stainless not sure which it is a safe queen it is in great shape i would say 98 easy because it is a safe queen. I know he hasn't shot it in at least 10 years just ben sitting in the safe. The thing is i don't know what its worth. So whats it worth?

I've got a Python 4" blued that's been appraised at $1,100. It also is in excellent condition. Does that help ya out?

I have the same gun and though not a safe queen it's in good shape. Bought it in the early 80s and it's worth $1400+.

Colts are worth what you can get them for...

people badmouth them, critisize them and redicule them but at the end of the day, Colt is the standard all others are judged by.
