this torgues me off when LEO act like this, it's just a coutresy to let them know there's a weapon in the vehicle by handing them your license. I place my CHL on top of my DL when handing over the information. according to my last CHL renewal, the officer is not allowed to ask for your pistol, hence its a "concealed" license. they have the option at that time to say it was "in the open" ,now its your word against theirs. anytime they run your drivers license # the information is on there automatically.
helibow, remember you have the option of filing a complaint against the officer. if he does it once its likely he do it again. not sure what city you were in but there are several small towns south of DFW on 35 east&west that are not very professinal. just recently had one pull up beside me while driving on night and turn on his alley lights (bright white lights on side of light bar) after i stopped seeing blue spots he's shaking his finger at me. then he speeds off
