Thank you for your prayers.
After getting the run around trying to get an appointment with various specialist in the area(couldn't see me until October) we contacted a friend of my daughter who works in the Nephrology department at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
3-1/2hrs from calling for a new patient appointment we were able to see the doctor, get lab work done, got ultra sound done, got the radiology report, and had the doctor calling us with results before we got home......yea we couldn't believe it either!!!
They have classified the large structure on the left kidney as a simple cyst. No action is required unless it causes me too much pain. They are unsure if the small cyst on the right kidney is simple or complex so they want to take another look at it in 6 months.
This is a big relief and most of my pain has subsided. Now its time to try and see a spine specialist and Gastroenterologist for the test that...."men of a certain age"....get done.
