Its facial expression looks odd... like it has a bad hair day or just woke up.

I agree drew, expression is quite odd (like he is very startled) also the ears look a little too spread out...and I also would like to say that I am not knocking it, because I too do not have near the patience it would take to do taxidermy. I do like the pose....just my $.02 for what it is worth...prolly nuthin

It must be very difficult to get the expression and eyes to look relaxed and/or without emotion because most of the cats I've seen have that startled / frazled look.
