I just put a set of Maxxis on my wifes Truck. Can't remember what model though, but I've used the local guy many times for repairs, etc., and he said for the price they can't be beat. Think they were $480 out the door mounted/balanced for 255/70/16. They only have about 100 miles on them, so I'll have more input in 6 months or so. -
The only experience I've had with Maxxis tires is with the Buckshots. Obviously being a mud tire, they didn't as good of mileage as an a/t tire. I did manage to get 32,000 miles out of them. This was on my old work truck w/ a darkroom that weighed a ton...Comment

We have some of the buckshots on an old blazer and they have held up and performed very well. We don't have any complaints so far.Comment

They make some of the best Mountainbike tires that you can buy. Cannot speak for their vehicle tires though. Great downhill racing tires for sure.Comment
