Where are the best TP&WD Drawing Hunts?

For deer I would think that inks lake would be good. I know I see deer just about everytime I drive through there.

Keith, Cooper would be a good place for the boys to shoot a doe if drawn. Seems like they olny youth gun either sex category. Also Richland Creek WMA seems pretty good. Britt got drawn for there a couple of years ago. We saw a lot of deer some nice bucks lots of pigs just couldn't make it happen.

You may have pretty good luck on drawing the youth hunts. I've had a cold spell going for a while on the regular hunts. Most of the places around the hill country will have some exotics. The best thing you can do is look at the descriptions of the places in the hunt booklet and then call the areas and ask the people what kind of animals they have and how numerous they are. Good luck.
