I got my own indoor range now!

Well I opened up the garage so that I could use it in foul weather. I was hoping to have a little more range but I am going to have to settle with 16 yards. I guess this is better than 10 yards or nothing at all. I was even able to get my #46 recurve out today. I have a little discomfort in my right hand but I feel that I will be alright. Now I have to figure what I am going to use to make a backstop against the wall. If any of you all have pics of there indoor creations(other than Metro's living room) I would love to see them.

Hang 2 layers of carpeting behind your target from a 2x4, one on either side. Put hooks on top to hang from short chains on the ceiling so you can take it down (when the police come because a neighbor said somebody's shooting in their driveway). You should be able to find some remnants 4' wide by 6 feet long cheap.

I doubt that my neigbors would hear me shoot in the garage, but I just burnt all kinds of carpet the other day. I know where I can find more though.

I wish we could do that in my neighborhood, heck I feel funny in my backyard most of the time! Next year this time we should have the new house almost built.....it will come with a indoor bowrange and a 3-D course in the backyard!!!

ok....is there a law about shooting in the city limits?

Technically there could be if there was an ord. in the town that we live in or the city we live in. I live in the country well outside any city limits. I have very few neighbors.
