    Kayaking on the Llano

We are going to the lease next weekend and thinking about doing some kayaking and fishing on the Llano, we are about 5 miles from White's crossing which is about 10 miles west of Mason on FM 1871.
Anybody got any places that would be good to put in and be able to fish from the kayaks

    Thanks,
    Barry

The last road[it's gravel], before you get to the river, on the left. Take it and drive about four miles on it and it comes to a ranch that lets you fish there. I think it is $5 a day. There is usually an old guy around to take your money.

The hole of water there is about two miles long and is very good fishing. Good luck.

Thanks, I know where it is and I think it's called Camp something?
      I'll give it a try.

We rented Kayaks in Junction and fished the S. Llano. We had a great time. I would venture to say that it is about the same there. Small cranks, small spinnerbaits, and light weight spinning rod and your in for a great time.

Good luck to you. I've been wanting
to float that part of the llano but haven't yet. Please take pics and post up a summary so we can see.
