Mine is going on 3 years, no problems. My back up bow's D-loop is 5 years old. They are still very tight and don't have any wear on them.

3 years on mine as well with no wear. I like to wax mine while doing the string.

Good D Loop material should outlast your string.
I have well over 1000 shots on my new one and it looks the exact same as it did when I put it on.
