I just relized I should have been shooting more this year just picked mine up for the 1st time in 4 months and I'm hurting pretty bad right now.

shooting bout once a week right now, but only picked it up for the first time this season august 2nd

I try to shoot some every week, but I do not have a set routine. Just when I am not hog hunting and I get the urge to fling arrows. I like to get out there and shoot from 40-50-60 yards just for the challenge. Of course I shoot in the evening when it is cooler out.

and yes, I shoot year round but not this much. maybe once or twice a month

After season is over I rarely pick it up until the begining of september and then sling about 15 arrows through it, it has always been on. It stays haging in a gun room with the other bows and the guns behind locked doors all year.

The wife and I will start slinging some arrows this weekend and every weekend thereafter. Always seams like I'm pulling back 80lbs instead of 70 the 1st weekend of the routine. Kinda like swimming..u find muscles that u never thought u had..sore!!!

Pretty much shoot year round. Sometimes its only 1 time a week during the offseason though.

I shoot stick bow at least 4 to 5 times a week and just got finished shooting 40 3d targets in the woods with the kids.
