but texans or cowboys please sign tank johnson.

Guy is a stud and driving 15 miles over the speed limit and had a drink is not really all that and a bag of chips . . . basically he's no pacman.

Cowboys might, no way Bob McNair will sign him. One, with what he did the other day, he will not play at all next season. Knowing what he will do during that year, he will probably never play again. IMO

but tank has done what? speeding ticket?

i guess when they see what his blood alcohol is then judge whether it was dui but the released him after the sobriety test so could be nothing more than speeding and he had a beer.

        btw anyone ever drive 25 in a 25? I do but i have to work real hard at it . . . . .

You do know he is serving a 8 game suspension right before this happeded?

He already had been suspended for the first eight games of the 2007 season for violating probation on a gun charge. He spent two months in jail and was released in May.

Last December, police raided the 300-pound defensive tackle's suburban Chicago home and found six unregistered firearms -- a violation of his probation on an earlier gun charge.

Two days after last December's raid, Willie B. Posey, Johnson's bodyguard, was shot and killed in an early morning fight while he and Johnson were at a Chicago nightclub

Last month, Johnson pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor weapons charge stemming from the December raid as part of a deal with prosecutors that kept him from serving more time in jail. He was ordered to serve 45 days, which he served concurrently with the sentence for violating his probation.

If it happens once.....shame on me!
If it happens twice.....shame on you!

Regardless of how much talent a player has, their has be team discipline! No exceptions! I think the Bears did the right thing!

Notice how well-disciplined/classy organizations such as the Colts, Patriots, Bears, Chargers, etc. are always at the top and playing for the championships and other teams always in trouble such as the Raiders, are always bringing up the bottom??????

No one man, is above the team!

He is a great threat up the middle defensively, but his off the field issues aren't worth it!

C'mon dude......the bears have sucked for a long time. They had a good year, but they're hardly "always at the top". And by the way they didn't cut him for the previous convictions, or weapons charges....they cut him because he's suspended and can't play. If he could start in September he'd still have a job with the bears...period.
