Question for the Double Bull guys

I have a question for the guys with the Double Bulls. I finally bit the bullet and bought one and im curious if yall leave them out the entire season or take them down when not in use. i always leave mine (NOT DOUBLE BULLS) up all season long but the DB is cotton and have heard they can get chewed up pretty easily?

I leave one up from end of September through end of season. The other I leave up unless traveling to hunt another lease. I have a few tattered edges along the bottom from some hungry critters. No big deal.

I leave mine out from Sept 1 to February or so.

I haven't had a problem with them being chewed up by rats yet. They will fade slightly. I have started putting army netting over the top and this has helped tremendously as well.

I have left mine out for a full season and it held up very well, other than a small amount of rodent damage. Not sure what those little critters get out of chewing cotton. I would recommend putting it in heavy shade if possible and use all the stake loops and guy ropes. A bad storm collapsed the top or a side a few times but they popped right back out. I think Mike's idea of covering it with an additional layer of netting is a good one

Historically, I did not leave them out for fear the cows will trample them and rats will chew them. Also worried that I might get invited to hunt another persons place where I might need it. However this year, I think I am going to leave it out for Oct-Nov.

I've left mine out all season for the past 3 I believe. Like others have said, try to set somewhat in the shade, it will help tons. Mine has faded very slightly but only because the afternoon sun hits it full on for a few hours each day. I also cover the roof in sniper netting to reduce the shine and help with fading. I use the big tent stakes from Academy and tie off the strings to bushes on each side. Never had any problem with rodents.

I put mine out in August/Sept and take it down around February. Been doing this for 3 years now with no tears, rodent problems or fading. Last year I bought the Primos waterproof spray and sprayed it down pretty good just for caution and it worked or just helped I guess to protect it that much more.
