    Cuddeback Capture Motion Sensitivity...

Is there any way I can increase this?

My old Expert Flash Cameras take a lot more pictures...

I am curious also. I bought a capture last year and I was very impressed with it until about 4 months later the motion sensor pretty much stopped working..you have to wave your hand right in front of it. I bought another one and now it is doing the same thing after about 2 weeks...very frustrating

I think it has to do with the heat down here vs the body temperature of the deer...

so will work fine inside... but not outside at 100 degrees...

I agree with the heat deal. Mine have both been working fine. They are both in the shade and close to the feeder. Have you noticed it working better at night when it is a little cooler?

If I didn't have an Expert on the same feeder taking twice as many pictures I wouldn't know the difference...

I'm guessing they will work better once it is colder... when I don't really need the cameras to function...

          LoL...

Mine seem to be working fine, but I guess I wouldn't know the difference unless I had another camera set up. I do like to keep mine out of the afternoon sun, but that is a little easier here in East Texas.

My Capture IR and Flash both do well on batteries.

wow. I hear a lot of people saying, "you get what you pay for". Looks like sometimes you get less than you pay for.

The captures are good cameras, they do not have a sensitivty setting, the heat can decrease pics. Put a shield over the cameras or put in a shady areas it helped mine. I like these little cams, great pics, I mainly use them for trails and they are fabulous for that.

Hey Encinal, i thought about buying one of the enclosures for my Cuddeback to see if it would help with the direct sunlight possibly being an issue. Do you have any of your cameras in an enclosure?

I haven't... all of my cameras did better last night...

I don't know why... maybe it was a little cooler... or the deer moved a lot more?

                              I have no idea...

I am about to plaster up another 50 or so pics I've touched up...
