    Kansas Giant

I went to checkout a place in Kansas this place weekend. My buddy from college married a girl and her mom owns 1200 acres in Kansas. It wasn't what I thought would be. Man hunting would be a travel corridor. The rest is farmland. Lots of sign. We put a feeder up and a camera. Hopefully pics soon.

Kansas Giant . The guy that showed us this skull farms this acreage found this deer 2 years ago. He was dead in a pond about 300 yards from his house.I believe it has 22 scorable points and had a rough score around 200 BC. This deer was east of Kiowa, Ks. He is truely a brute . The young man in the pic is my buddies son. Enjoy!!!

I would say a travel corridor in Kansas is about as good as it gets in open farmland. Might take a while but I would think you would have a good chance at a brute if you have the time to stick it out. Oh yeah that is a brutefor sure. We used to hunt phesants around Cawker City and Osburne mostly farm land and if you see a mature one they are usually a hoss.

No he didn't say anything about gunshot hole. He told us he was on his tractor working. I hope he passed those genetics along

This is the reason I go back to my farm and hunt Kansas.
