I have that same tripod. I only used it once last year, but the seat was so uncomfortable I bought a boat seat at academy and put it on the tripod. Something you might think about doing up front.

        Turbohunter,

we have made the homemade GB's several ways. One way is to line it with black plastic, I have also used weed gaurd fabric. Others on here use fake grass/outdoor capet. I also use a tarp on the top to keep rain out, and if I have an extra military net I throw it on before I brush it in. They are pretty dang cheap and very effective.

Escape Pro, that I received for Christmas. I have not used it yet, But I am looking forward to using it. I still miss the old Sportsmans Guide Pop-up for $69.00. Now they are more expensive now.

            Rubber coated wire.

            Sidewalk mesh would work well.

double bull t5, works great for me. killed a deer out of it in a one day set up. if you plan on leaving a blind in place for an extended period of time maybe you should get something other than a portable ground blind and make a more permanent blind. any blind is going to fade if you leave it out for long periods of time. and i personally would not leave a 400 dollar blind out for too long especially these days.

No name cheapo for 50 bucks at Cabela's. It held up for spring turkey, we'll see about deer season.

Ameristep replaces thier binds with new ones when you send them in for repairs like Chance Love said!
How is paying 400-500 for a doublebull make it a better deal?
I will buy 3 brickhouses to one doublebull every day of the week!
Doublebull is way overated and way over priced.Just my.02 Good Luck!

I have a Sportsman's Warehouse cheapo that I have out for 2 seasons and it's still OK. Camo netting over it,brush it in and it's good to go but not the
                          easiest to shoot out of.
I also have a DB Matrix, which I think is the best thing going. I have set it up,
threw camo netting over it, lightly brushed it in and shot deer from it in
less than 2 hours! If you see a deer you want to get on quick, the Matrix
is the answer to your prayers! It blends in and the deer don't even look at it!
