I have a couple honey holes I want to set up on and need to purchase a couple ground blinds. What do yall think on the Intimidator (Ameristep) vs the Brickhouse (Ameristep). I can purchase them for about the same money at my location. I have a few of the brickhouses already and like them. The Intimidator from what I understand is better material but I'm not sure about the window system for bowhunting. Can yall give any feeback on the two if you have both of them. Particularly the Intimidator - how you rig the windows for bowhunting?

If you can get the Intimidator for the same price as a Brickhouse then IMO that's a no brainer, get the Intimidator. It's better material, a better window system and seems to overall be a better blind from what I've seen.
What are you able to get the Intimidator for if you don't mind me asking?

I got the Intinmidator and the gillie system 3 weeks ago. Have hunted it for two weekends (well one weekend was only "one" evening hunt). The window system is great. I really like it. In fact I used it for the kills in my post in the hunting reports Publick Hunting? Sometimes it just happens. The blind was not brushed in in that hunt! The deer looked toward it one time and didn' pay it the slightest mind. On another hunt it was set in some heavy brush. They new it was there and looked at it frome time to time, but came and fed anyway.
I leave the back window partly down so i can watch the back of the blind. If something comes in from the front, I simply raised the curtain and the magnet holds it up in place. I havn't used the zip in floor yet. But I really like the camo pattern and with the gillie system. It seem to blend in pretty good with minor brush. The gillie system dose require a little more time setting up.
I have also pruchased the Eastman gillie system to compair the two. It sets up much faster, is simpler. But can not be customized like the Ameristep system.
