Never kill a black snake

Seen four at the ranch over the last couple of months, after only seeing two over 30 + years of having the ranch. They are great snakes, I have not seen a rattler out there this year. Usually will kill a couple of rattlers a year.

I LOVE the Blues! This one was laying in the road late one evening. Removed a few ticks, and off she went. On a sad note, (sad to me anyways..) I saw a huge one dead this past weekend on SH85 out of Charlotte on the way home Sunday..

les...i have seen them big around as my thigh (python-like)

i know, no pics didn't happen but i am keeping my point & click on me all the time for this season. I have missed some lifetime captures by being lazy.

i tried to grab one the size you have there & she called my bluff...turned into a momma grizzly, bit my wrist & sent me runnin...funny how some are so calm like pets.

Being PWT from east texas.....if I ever stumble onto that happening.......well I am afraid it will just be a twofer.

Lord please keep ALL snakes away from me as in times of distress I will just killem all. Amen
