    My last day on archerytalk.con

As many of you may have seen and venturers from my about to be marriage, I've been selling my high dollar items. Sold a alphamax on archery talk in near mint condition. Got a message from the guy saying the limbs were split, string was bad, and pieces were missing. Not to mention his threats because the bow took 3 days from the time I got his check until the bow was in his hands. Thank you TBH for your honest transactions, I'll never do business anywhere else

I wouldn't let one bad apple spoil the bunch. I enjoy seeing the national bowhunting perspective as well and AT is a good resource for that. Those midwestern guys shoot some big bucks and its fun to see IMO.

I've said the same thing about this forum. I've had nothing but good luck on both classifieds.

Yeah I've read the forums on there but it mostly seems like a bunch of shop guys and no regular dudes IMHO.

Been having the same problems. Paid for some arrow uni bushings three weeks ago and have not gotten them. The guy keeps telling me he mailed them a few weeks ago. This the only time out of 60 transactions that I've done thats gone bad on AT. There's still honest people on AT but I feel much better dealing with my brother's and sister's on TBH.

They have that rating system - use it. Give the guy a bad rating for his comments.

Did you get the bow back and did you send him his money back?

I'd ask him to sent pictures today, and ship it back at his expense and you'll make a determination at your sole discretion. Nobody will destroy a bow and then pay shipping back to you- if (probably is) he's really trying to rip you off.

Like the guy says in the beginning of the tv show Burn Notice, AT the few times on looked around there reminded me of "a bunch of beatchy little girls"

honestly and I'm not saying my way is the "right" way.

I'd tell him I'll pay to ship it back if it's my bow and i verify its in the condition he said I'd refund the money and deal with the shipping company myself.

you don't know for sure that he didn't in fact receive the bow in that condition because it was abused in shipping.
