Does anyone have an update on the funeral service for Capt. Jason Holbrook. I'm stuck at work and would like to make sure that it wasn't interrupted? any info would be great.

Funeral services for Captain Holbrook will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2010, at First Baptist Church, Burnet, Texas, with the Rev. Barry Drake officiating. Private interment, with military honors, will be conducted at Holbrook Ranch in Burnet County. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to The Captain Jason Ellis Holbrook Scholarship at Burnet High School through the First State Bank of Burnet.Comment

Just spoke to my Dad who was there. He said it was a beautiful service and didn't hear of any protests or trouble. I don't know if the Felps clan showed up or not.Comment

I read an article in the Burnet paper that said that the media was not allowed at either the funeral or the burial. Good idea. No media...no show. There was no mention of a demonstration so either the protesters didn't show up or they were ignored by the media (which is good).Comment
