    RV a/c help

We drove down to port a last night on the rv! The problem is neither the front or rear a/c work when the rv is not plugged in (not running off generator) they work great when plugged into shore power. We are stumped on this and not looking forward to the 3-4 hour drive home w only the house a/c on

make sure the mains at your inverter/converter are good, and the fuses to the AC

Ok will do that but if the fuses are bad, would the ac still run on shore power?

You may have some type of GFI plug that needs resetting.

On some RV's you have to swap the power plug from generator to shore power and vice versa. Should be in the electric bay near the generator. The other thing tha occurs to me is maybe a defective transfer switch, might want to check that.
