Would you rather have bucks or does visiting your feeders now?

I like seeing buck pics in velvet but won't they(bachelor groups) scatter out to check does come Rut time?

Does. The bucks will come to them when it is time.

If I have anything in the deer family hitting mine I am going to be happy. Heading out tomorrow to check cameras and fill feeders.

I've found that if I can get a mature buck coming to the feeder during the summer that he will usually stick around into early bow season giving me a small chance at him

I LOVE seeing shooter bucks on cameras throughout the summer! If they stick with it you typically have a week or so of Bow Season to get an arrow in them before they start feeling the pressure and go underground. I plan on finding one to hunt and being in my blind at whatever time I need to be on opening day (even if that is 1-2AM) in order to foll thier night time routine and take advantage of the summer feeding patterns.

X2. There easier to pattern while there still in there summer groups. Mid october or so everything changes.
