Bulk corn price in Austin area... lower than last year

Just talked to folks in Taylor about bulk corn prices.

8.20 / 100 lbs.

it was 4.48 /40 lbs at Dicks Sporting Goods in P-ville. The guy I spoke with said that the corn prices should be LOWER this year.

But.. he said be careful of aflatoxin. the late rains kinda played heck on the ears in the field.

Huntindad was that Randall Fisher that you talked to? I posted his info on here the last 2 years. I was about to call him and get a price update and place my order with him. I went to high school with Randall and he was raised right even if he did end up going to A&M...

Not sure what his name was. Nice guy though. Said they were still real busy with farmers bringing in their corn.
