My sister in law found this on her deck friday, don't know if the pic is good enough. Anybody know what kind it is? I have a guess but not 100% sure. Not sure how to enlarge the pic.

sorry bud, its still way to small. i even tried on photoshop to get a better image. it looks like it might have a pattern on it? from what i saw, i would guess a rat snake. but its hard to tell. take a look at some on google and see if that resembles what you saw. just remember, they can vary in darkness of color. some are really dark browns

I opened the attachment and enlarged it. I thought it was a rat snake or a chicken snake but not sure.

From the 1st small pic, it looked like the infamous "Electrous Cordus" snake....seriously, I first thought the electric cord was the snake.....ug, I hate Monday mornings!

Not for certain but maybe a Rat snake would be my guess from that side image, the top one I couldn't tell at all.
