New Zealand Hunts?

Has anyone ever hunted Red stag in New Zealand? Im thinking of booking a trip and was wondering if anyone has gone and can give some info.

new Zealand Red Stag

I successfully hunted New Zealand last March for Red Stag with Kiwi Safaris on a hunt set up for me by Dennis Kamstra of Bowhunting Safari Consultants. The hunt was extrememly enjoyable with tons of red stag to choose from. This was not a free ranging hunt; however, the fenced in ranches we hunted were large even by Texas standards.

Beatyy...shoot me an email or PM with what you are looking for and I will fill you in. We hunt on some of the best private land in New Zealand...on a side note...Kiwi Safaris does some of their hunts on a per animal basis on properties that the outfitter I work with has the hunting rights leased up on and they pay him for what they kill...he has free and frequent access to the places. Bang for the buck, our packages cant be beat. I am putting together a group package that I can send you the info on if you would like.
We hunt free range and "game ranches"...if you want an absolute world beater, a game ranch is the way to go...if you want the thrill of chasing truly wild critters in some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world...free range is the way to go..BUT it is work!

Kills with Kiwi Safaris in April 06. One of the smallest stags I saw and the largest fallow I saw. I want to go back so bad, I can't stand it. The time of year I went, both the stag and fallow were in rut big time!
