Looking for a book on birds...

I'm looking for a "Birds of Texas" book. One of my "lighter" hobbies along with good coffee is bird watching, I need a guide for Texas as all I have is the west coast.

Go with Peterson's Field Guide to Birds (of Texas). Small book, paperback with maybe Nighthawk on it.

next time you run by a barnes and nobles stop in. you could also grab a double shot of your favorite blend at starbucks.

I also have a Birds of Texas book that I keep at the ranch - I probably use it more than Peterson's

contact TP&W or US fish and Wildlife. They probably have books on hand they will send out for free. I got several for a girls scout project several years ago.
