I am new and need help with a coyote problem

Is this Wellborn, TX just out of College Station? If so, I use to live there for two year.

As for the coyote problem, put a bullet in his butt. If I was closer I'd come do it for you. I don't have a problem capping yotes.

FIRST - There are NO POISONS you can legally use unless you have an M44 permit - which is time consuming to get and use. Only pesticide permit/ license holders can apply for it. Any poison you use will also kill dogs and any vultures that eat the carcass. Killing vultures is a federal offense. Several years ago 2 guys in Texas went to prison for poisoning corn to kill hogs. It killed deer and the vultures that ate them.

Second - get rid of the donkey - if he won't chase coyotes, get one that will. Llamas kill coyotes, too.

Something you might try - get a whole chicken from the store, run a rope through it, and hang it about 3 feet off the ground from a tree limb. Set up downwind from it with a shotgun, bow, or 22 rifle, and wait. Make sure there isn't anything behind it that you don't want to kill - like chickens, donkeys, people...
