    Live Ducks

Anyone know where you can by live ducks? I live in Katy near Houston and found a place that could deliver them. Im just not sure the neighbors would like a dozen live mallards sitting on the front porch.

Want them from field training a lab. Any rules on killing them? Im sure you cant release them and shoot them unless its season? Can i ring their necks.

    Thanks in advance.

BOth Atwoods and Tractor Supply sell chicks. For grown birds, you would probably need to find a trades day.

Find a local park and catch you some! Just kidding....

(but seriously, I know where you could catch as many as you want.)

It has been years but some folks at TradersVillage used to sell them (290 and Eldridge). I don't even know if that place still exists.

Contact any one of the large number of professional trainers down that way, and I'm sure they can hook you up.

Contact Tejas Retriever Club. They can help you with the ducks and the training.

If they are not species identified by the fed. regulations and are raised domestically, i bet you can blast away??

we have a guy here in winnie that has trained ducks. he sets guys up in a blind and has someone release them from a pen a few miles away and they are trained to fly to that pond. not sure about season but i know when they do this there is no limit. customers pay for a certain amount of birds and just smoke em till they get what they paid for
