I know I can trust TBH on this one. Thinking about SPI for a few days family vacation. Everyone is over 17. I would love to see a list of condos that those in the know prefer. Maybe list your top 3. Thanks big green for any help.

Isla del Sol is our favorite, but very family oriented...they don't like loud intoxicated teenagers...as my cousin and his friends found out. Radison is my all time favorite, followed by the sheraton. Been going for almost 12yrs now. -

i will be there next week. Not a condo though. going to stay at the white sands. Kids seem to like it. Hope the fishing is good.

Google Service 24, they list many condos to rent. We stayed at Ocean Vista last week and it was great, but no wifi.Comment

We were at SPI within last 2 weeks. I hadn't been there in 5 or 6 years. Didn't stay on the island as a family member has a small cottage on the bay in Port Isabel. However where ever you settle on try and bargain with them, tourism is way down. On Monday we saw several people on the beach that worked at some of the hotels and they said they were very slow. Judging by the number of condos/hotels now built they are probably getting desparate for some revenue even if not their full rate. Oh and the water was very clear but there was a lot of sea weed. Red fish were running in the surf and I caught a keeper spec wade fishing out from the place we stayed.Comment
