Smallmouth in Wimberly??

My son caught this in the creek in Wimberly...I didn't know there were smallmouth in this area...I guess it's a smallmouth

Yep and thats a decent one. We have all three bass in the rivers and creeks here. Black, Guadalupe, and small mouth. Must have been fishing in Cypress Creek. We caught a small one last week yaking as well as a 4 lb black.

I've always wanted to catch a smallie in Texas. That is a nice one. They can really pull hard.

It was about 2 pounds, He caught it in Cypress Creek. We caught a few black bass a couple catfish also. It did fight hard, it sure surprised us...that creek is not very big.
