I was shooting tonight, and accidentally shot my 40 yd pin at 30 yards. I have my target set up in front of a huge oak tree in our back yard. I realized what I'd done as soon as I was about to pull the trigger on my release, but it was too late. THWACK! I knew by the sound and explosion that my arrow was toast. I've been worried about the speed my Admiral was shooting with these heavy arrows, but after seeing this arrow, I'm not worried about my kinetic at all.
The arrow was stuck about an inch into that big ol' hard oak, and this was the back end of the arrow. Threw one of the vanes off, plus twisted the shaft up and shattered it. I think this bow will send an arrow through a deer with no problem!
