I'm having a huge issue with my Chevy Truck only 37,000 miles on it and the starter has gone out! This is not normal to have one blow on a fairly new truck. The fuel pump also crapped out at 22k miles approx...

The plot thickens b/c I purchased a GMC Factory extended warranty from the dealership where I bought the truck (not TL)...well, now it's now where to be found. I pulled my purchase records and there is a $1,100 discrepancy in my bill of sale from the purchase price. So what has happened they never entered my warranty and kept the money. So now, I'm having to get that worked out BUT...
In the mean time Tom Light is getting the factory to work with me on the cost because of the circumstances and age of the truck. I'm not sure what's going to happen, but either way the service manager is going all out to make it right!

I feel TL Chevy is the only honest car dealership I have dealt with over my car years. I have had them work on my last two trucks and almost bought another one from them two years ago.

My next vehicle purchase will be with TL Chevy.

I bought my truck from Jerry Black at Tom Light and had a wonderful buying experience. I have had a lot of issues with my truck (not Tom Light's fault) and another one popped up today. I will buy my next truck from Tom Light, unless I go against the family tradition and buy a Ford.

I bought mine from Shamalley in El Paso. My uncle has bought a lot of vehicles from them (Doc= corvettes, trucks etc...) and cut a deal that they would sell me his old truck for trade in value. Well, they weren't going to make money off of the deal but agreed to it since they made a ton off him already. I always purchse the GMC factory warranty. The sales guy kept saying he was sending the paperwork and it never showed. so I went to Tom Light and they said there was a warranty on it to 100k miles. I thought that was the warranty I bought...turns out it was just the certified pre-owned. My extended factory warranty was never entered.

I'm going to give them (El Paso dealer) the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise, but as soon as they balk, I'm going to get ugly. There is nothing worse in life than dishonest car dealers.

My old 2002 is still kicking at 160,000. No problems yet. I buy from a guy that I have known for years. When he moves, I move. Hope everything works out okay.

My 06's fuel pump went out and it took a dealer 4 days to fix it -THEN- it went out again exactly one year to the day. Not to sure about Goverment Motors again.
