Up and running again

My computer bit the dust and I lost all of my pics and stuff. I had no backup and just now got my new computer up and running. What do you do to back up your system. Hard drive backup or an online service. I am mad at myself for not taking the necessary steps to keep myself backed up. Not a computer guru by any stretch but knew enough that it can or probably would evetnually happen and it did.

Depending on what caused your HD to crash, you can send it out to a data recovery company and they can sometimes get your stuff back.

Whether or not to do an online backup system really depends on how much data you have. Do backup my system, we use a program called Oops!Backup. WOrks good and is really easy to use.

I use paragon it backs up everything even the os.

You can get an external hardrive and cloning software, it will be a complete clone of your OS, drivers, etc. and all your pictures, video's and files will be there as well.

Is there a particular software you would sugggest. Also how big of a back drive should I get.
