Best Game Camera for the Buck?

In your opinion whats the best camera for your Buck, I am thinking of buying one, but with the High cost of Leases. "Just thought I would throw that in." The only known is it has to be Digital. I want to hear your opinions. Customer service would be good also.

I like the things I am seeing from Wildview. They have a digital at wally world for 50 bucks and takes an SD card.....$50 you really can go wrong.

I always said that if Moultrie would fix the issues with the 200, it would be the best trail cam for the money. Apparently they have revised their whole line of trail cams. Curious if they have fixed the issues.

        Tracy,

I've tried just about every one on the market. My favorites are the Moultrie 200, the Leaf River and the Stealth WD-2.

I would hold off just a little while longer and see how the reviews come in on the new line of Moultries.

Of course if you got lots o money to blow, the the Cuddeback IR is an awesome camera.

I did see where Leafriver won the SHOT show award this year for their game cameras.

Rattler the $50 Wildview does take decent pictures but I would go with the 2 MP minimum. I would tell everyone you owe it to yourself to try the Wildview. For the price if you don't like them, you haven't lost much. I'm sold on them and I own 3 expensive Recon Talons.

For the money, the WD2 flash cam would be my first choice. I've gotten them for 113 and 117 delivered off ebay. LONG battery life. Good picture and OK flash. Easy to use.

I'm interested to see how the Wildview 4 and 5 mp cams do with battery life. The flash seems to be superb. Simple to use from what I see. I'm going to buy one soon and see how they do. They are about 119 in BP Archery. One of the guys on our lease had the first Wildviews and I thought they were pretty worthless. VERY poor flash and batteries ran down VERY quickly.

For a little more, the Stealh I230 has been a GREAT camera for me. Couple thousand pics on a set of batteries and it still will read "full". Good IR flash.

Take into consideration extra battery and Solar Panel when you figure price on some of the cams that don't have good battery life.

My Leaf Rivers have been good mid range cameras, but I can get two WD cams for the price of one LR and almost 4 for the price of a Cuddeback. I go for quanity and try to cover LOTS of stuff.

I purchased a Leaf River infarred camera last year. It was around $300, but there is no flash to scare the game and you can also set it on film mode and film instead of taking pictures. It has good battery life as I am concerned and is made really well. Leaf River, has really good customer service and gives good instructions on how to use. Leaf River wins my vote!
