New to Bow Hunting

I am new to the world of bow hunting. I am very excited and want to get the 1st kill under my belt. Can anyone suggest a good place that is accomidating to the new hunter ?

I live in Comal County, However am willing to travel to a good place to harvest my 1st animal.
