I musta stepped on one big and mad copperhead Monday nite. My kids and I are visiting my moms in Forney and Hubby and I were taking a walk through a corn field. Next thing I know my foot feels like it is on fire. I knew immediatly what it was, and tried to find the nasty serpent. My dog pointed to the area, but we could never find the snake. By now my foot has two large and rather wide fang marks (for a copperhead) on the top of it. Husband went and got the truck and took me to Baylor....Now...Yall....NO NOT EVER GO TO BAYLOR!!! my Husband is a paramedic, and we both thought that Baylor would be the top choice....WRONG! It took the ER Doc two and half hours to get to me and it is only because I was vomiting and had no control over it, and I was begainning to get loud during them spells,,,,,the pain was intense and travling up my leg into my hip and even my stomach.
I am back at mt moms no, I cant drive home yet. I am glad for TBH entertainment....cuz it is sure boring sitting on this couch w/ nothing to do but elevate and look at this big ugly foot. And Farmville and facebook are getting old.
keep the enertaining posts comming.....laughter is the best medicine!
