What are you looking at doing? Camping, boating, swimming, fishing....? I have several friends that go up to DeGray, but I've never been and camped, just drove around.

If you like to canoe you should float the buffalo river. Might even see a bear and elk or two. Beautiful country and good smallie fishing.
If you like to trout fish, the white river is some of the best trout fishing you can find anywhere in the nation.
If you are religious, head up to Eureka Springs and see the Passion Play.
July 17 there is a buffalo river canopy tour opening up. Is like a 3 hour zip line tour through the hills.

Am thinking of going up in a couple weeks and trying out the canopy tour.

A little internet searching and you can find some decent priced cabins. I was looking at some in ponca the other day and they were around 100 bucks a night.
