    Ladder stand

Can anyone point me in the right direction. lookin to buy a single and a double

got all of mine at BPS and Academy! They seem to be on sale often and not much difference in brands when it comes to ladder stands. Our "family stand" which is a double 12 foot ladder stand is awesome for the 3 of us!!!

i really like the el cheapos they carry at d#ick's sporting goods. they have a couple of brands that run $50 and they are all the same stand. they put out $10 coupons all the time so you can pick them up for $40. very well made, easy to put up and they have some rhino liner type material sprayed on them

Big Game brand is good. I got a 15 foot one man ladder stand last year for $150 for the hardware store in town.

I have 5 of these on the farm:

And I have 15 of these on the farm:

I would recommend both of these if you are looking for a decent priced ladder stand. What I like about the wrap around 2 man stand is that you can still keep the railing on the stand, drape it with camo netting and still shoot over it without any problems if you are bow hunting because it's not as high as other railing on other ladder stands. The woodsman is cool because you can flip the railing up out of your way to bow hunt and flip back down for rifle hunting if you want.

Yup, the platform is small, but so is the price and they are sturdy. If they wander off my lease in Oki-Homi I am out $40.00 a pop. Had a $10.00 off card...

I got the two man stand at Academy (BBK brand?) and it works well. It don't have the best seat or back rest but it works. I also called them up and got a couple of more sections of ladder to get a little higher if the tree called for it.

I bought the simple and cheap version then bolted on a swiveling boat seat. I have to have a seat with a backrest if I am going to sit very long.

I have a buddy who's wife works at WalMart so he knows when all the hunting stuff goes on sale after season. He bought all of the Remington double ladder stands they had left and I bought two of them. They are a whole lot sturdier than the ones that I originally had from Academy. I paid him $80 apiece for them but they were originally about $100-$110 each I'm guessing.
