Chance Love's work that I have seen was amazing. I don't think he does much anymore. Big Skinny on here (out of Abilene) does really nice work.

Damuth in Brady is top notch, but fore warning it will take a year at best to get it back. If you can get Chance to do one in his retirement he is also top notch. Dan Verrip in San Antonio does great work too. He did the axis mount in my album pics

I'd give alot to have Chance do a mount for me, his stuff is TOP NOTCH. I also want to give Rooster a try.

The only one I've used is Sam Hill in Breckenridge, he did my fallow buck and it looks AWESOME. I got it back in about 7 or 8 months too.

                  Woodburys in Ingram
                  Damuth in Brady

Both are the best work I have ever seen in person

Rooster here on TBH does great work (as far as the pictures show anyways). I have never seen his work in person, but it looks good enough that I would not mind sending him something without looking at his work in person.

Sam does a GREAT job on Whitetail! He will get every whitetail I ever shoot, but I would probably go to one of the ones I listed above if it was an exotic species of some kind (axis, fallow, blackbuck)

Woodburys did all of my Grand Slam mounts. They're not real fast or cheap. Did great work on my mounts.

You guys that don't like to wait for a year don't ever take anything to my dad. He does beautiful work but you'd be doin' good to get it back in 5 years! Don't tell him I said so.

Here's the fallow Sam did for me. I thought he did a bang up job all things considered.
Only issue is that he talks so darn fast it's hard to understand him.
