When should I use this lure in Port A?

Making the trip from Dallas to Port Aransas tonight. Should I use this crank bait in the surf or the jetty channel? Morning or evening? The bigger the bait the bigger the fish right???

All I can say is take pictures... Tie that sucker on a rod and start wading out into the surf and get somebody with a camera to start snapping shots. Bound to get some looks off of that one. I've always wanted to get a stringer of fish and take 'em with me to a road side ditch and act like I caught them all there just to see the reaction of clueless fisherman.
