WildGame IR8X camera review

My dad wants to buy several Wild Game IR8X camera's and I have never seen them before. Does anyone have info on them?

i bought one last year the ir4 i believe, talks great picture is you can keep it from eating batteries every 800 pics or so, not to mention the so called sealed case is not, that sob leaks. i converted mine to run off a 6v feeder batter with solar panel. i would not buy another one. hope this helps not sure if they have changed them this year but mine is a pos.

A friend put one of his IR4 up on one of our spots and while I thought the daytime pics were very good, the night pics had very little reach. Aside from that, don't know much else about them.

The best I can tell is that they are a new version of the IR4 but they come with a rechargable 6v Battery that they claim will last for 6 months. It also comes with a battery charger. I guess I will buy one and get a review up soon.
