If they have a 36" wide safe, post up the price. That may save me a drive.

I was there at lunch. They were unloading them off the truck while I was there and said they should have them all out and priced around 2. The way I understood him all of these are damaged in some way and the amount of damage is going to determine the amount of discount. He said some of them were pretty bad. The ones in they had out were in pretty good shape it looked like to me. He said there are around 35 safes total. I did not see a 36" wide safe and didn't think to ask if they had one on the truck.

Great info. I'm going to call over and see what they have. I'd hate to make the hour drive to see a junker.

edit: just talked to them and they have several in multiple sizes including 36". Guy said that the prices are all from $1000 and up and the safes were the higher end models.

Guys I spent a ton of time looking this spring for a big safe and doing a ton of research on them. I found them better priced with better fire ratings (longer times and higher temps '90 min at 1400 degrees'), not to mention these have bigger bolts and heavier. Take the time and compare them. I have no affiliation with them or the guy that sells them other than I got double the safe I was looking at, for less money. I can't remember his name but think it's Eric or Adam or something like that. Here's the link to the 45 gun safe I bought.
