    Strange trail camera sequence -

Going through post-season pictures and this sequence is interesting - it appears something attacks this deer, but nothing was caught on the camera (note the fur hanging from her neck). After the last shot the camera doesn't trigger for 6 minutes and then I can't spot anything in those pictures either.

    Anybody see anything I missed?

In the second picture there is something hanging off the far side of her muzzle. It looks like a tail of something.

Yes that is weird......The one thing that I see that may make sense is in the 2nd pic when she is spooked it looks like something is hanging from her lips (possibly a feather or leave), 3rd pics looks like some kind of fluid on neck. and 4th pics looks like whatever was in her mouth in #2 is now on her throat

Okay - good. You see something different that is much more realistic than what I was thinking. I thought I was seeing the fur hanging from her neck, but leaves, etc. is just as plausible. Good explanation.

Must be the fabled 'East Texas Invisible Attacking Squirrel'. Not sure, though, since I've never actually seen one...
