I went in a week ago or so and asked Aaron a few questions.Of course it lead to some BS'ing.I told him I should go and let him get back to work.He said it's all part of the job.I bought some stuff he recomended and went on my way.Never occured to me to tip him,but I like the idea of dropping off some goodies before and during hunting season.
I sure have. If they do more than expected a tip is warranted.
Youll be amazed how when you walk into that shop mid October needing some work done and they are covered up but somehow they bump you up to the top of the line.
I tip them when warranted AND Ive taken them lunch or breakfast stuff in the past. And yes it doesnt help get ya a lil "preference" sometimes but I do it cause I genuinely like the guys at our local shop. Just good guys without attitudes and helpful.
Aaron is good folk. As a sales rep (former store owner) I know how we can be treated especially if someone is busy and I know to back off. On a recent visit showing him some new lines as he would get busy he would apologize to me constantly. I told him don't worry about me, you do well we both stand to do better. I would let him work on my gear any day. Oh and that is a, don't know the proper terms, but purty shop! Clean, well stocked (could use a few more things LOL) and Friendly. Someone should post pictures.
