It all comes down to a financial decision.. They could win this next game at the Cavs gym, and sweep the finals..., or they can lose the game.. meaning they get one more game at home... meaning lots more revenue.......... With that being said.. I think they will intentionally lose game four.. It is all about the money these days!!

I can see how that scenario is logical. I could almost believe it if it weren't for the Spurs team themselves....they are too classy to throw a game. The organization will reap huge financial benefits just from winning the world championship, as will the individual players. I just can't see them tanking a game and giving the Cavs even a glimmer of hope.
Having said that, watch them come out tonight and stink up the place. If they do....I'll still think it's not purposely throwing a game.

It's confusing. All the other rounds are 2-2-1-1-1 and the finals are 2-3-2.
The league uses the excuse that they don't want all the press to have to travel and change hotels 5 times if it goes 7 games
I think it also is in hope that the underdog can extend the series on it's home floor, but the league denies it.
I think the Spurs just want to win 4 and come home and will give it their all to clinch it tonight.

They would never throw a game. You never know what could happen after that. However, it is also very hard to win the close out game as the other team is desperate. I thought they would lose game 3. I hope they close it out tonight but it would not surprise me if Cleveland gets the win only to be destroyed in game 5.

The difference between the Mavs last year and the Spurs any year...when you have another team down, you don't let them up, you put your boot on their throat until they're done. Their style may not be pretty basketball, but bottom line is, it works.
Spurs win tonight, and take another step towards a Duncan career where he will earn a championship ring for every finger.
