    CAMERA help**

Looking at getting a new camera to upgrade from a "point and shoot". Most pictures will be kids in action and typical family stuff. Might take it to the blind with me once in a while.

Any advise would be appreciated, looking to stay in the $500 range.

I found these two cameras at Best Buy.

I have an older version of the Canon-S5IS and it is a great camera. I have used it for deer stand pics and action shots while fishing for sails in Costa Rica and the video is great as well.

You will get a better response if you post this question in the photography forum. I shoot a Nikon, so I can't help with the Canon questions. However, I will say this....

gotcha! I almost started the thread in that forum but figured this one got more traffic.

I failed to mention this is a cannon high fence hunt
