    Roadkill opp in Mckinney

After over 15 years of commuting from Grayson to Richardson I saw my first roadkill deer on I-75 this morning.
Was on the northbound side just south of Harlows beer store.

Yep she was there on Saturday night, 2nd one Ive seen in the last two weeks. There was another one 2 weeks ago on the southbound shoulder just north of the new John Deer dealership in McKinney.

Of course, the 3rd one I hit in March on 121 to the tune of 2500 dollars in damage to my truck. ;(

Yep, I've seen a lot of swollen deer laying on the side of 75 in that same bottom area between Harlows and McKinney over the years.

heading north if you watch to the left as you past the creek you will see the deer in a little cull d sac of bailing straw on west side of 75. Saw real nice buck there about 2 yrs ago. Doe out there atleast 2 to 3 times a week in evening.

I have seen a couple of pigs neer 75 and 121 dead. The closest road kill deer was up by Anna. I see more and more deer around McKinney every year.

Rjet...you need to go back to Arkansas more often. I'll see two or three roadkill on Hwy 82 between Magnolia and El Dorado going to the lease. Go back towards Sheridan you will probably see plenty of road vittles.

Am sure most towards Sheridan were hit on purpose by the guys I used to hunt with.

I hunted squirrel in those Honey Creek bottoms as a kid. You could only dream of seeing a deer in those days.

I think they should move those "Deer Crossing" signs. (do you have those?)

Sometimes it's just to dangerous for them to cross there.....
